Medium density hardwood
Rustic character - a great material for harvest tables. Any knots are filled with epoxy unless otherwise requested
Low shock resistance
Often stained (pictures below are all Alder stained with Dark Walnut stain)

Hand-applied, oil-based stain to seal and protect the wood
20+ options to choose from
Walnut isrecommended to be left unstained and finished with a clear coat of either Rubio Monocoat or conversion varnish
Tasteful distressing available upon request. Please note that in the Order Notes section when ordering

: 20+ Stain Colors

We offer two different types of finishes
- High-end conversion varnish
  - Available in matte or satin sheen
  - Can be combined with stain colors
  - Incredibly durable finish
- Rubio Monocoat matte finish
  - Normally, we use Rubio Monocoat Pure, which is a clear coat that brings out a slight amber color in the wood. However, there are color variations available as well.
  - Initially made for commercial flooring, this product protects wood from water and food while maintaining a raw, natural look
  - No sheen
  - Handles scratches and daily abuse very well
  - Damp rag/soap and water cleanup
  - Not available on alder
